Hello everyone.

I want to trick out my Speed Cobras with ACD parts. I'm looking at getting the Ultimate Drive Shaft, Direct Drives and the N+1 beaters. Has anyone else done a similar upgrade?

If so, how did it affect the performance of the pedal?

I've done the Ultimate drive shaft and the direct drive for my Iron Cobra. I'm really happy of the quality and the feeling produced by this new hardware.

Please consider the straps :

Straps are generally the most efficient option (efficient - not necessarily better) since there are no bearing/linkages or any points of friction. [...]

I have upgrades the driveshaft on both my Iron Cobra and Speed Cobra pedals and have upgraded to ACD strap drive and the Ultimate Beater on my Speed Cobras.

I'm hoping I can upgrade the footboards on both pedals. I've worn the stock hinges down on both

New member here, I wasn't sure where to ask this question but I was wondering if there are schematics for the longboard upgrade?

We have the N+1 beater
With the light and heavy disk’s
The heavy disk is favourite here , without the weight ,
We had cobra’s 600 twin , but strap driven
So much smoother

But 2weeks ago we received the phantom’s
What a difference, it plays so easy and quick, but the footboard is like glued at your foot .
Respons and reaction is so good,
And the balance in the pedal is perfect

But with the upgrades you will feel much difference
Adjust your pedals lighter and start playing . You wil find a different setting for your pedal

Maybe the Spring Geometry Upgrade for Tama is also an nice upgrade
